CABBAGE SALAD


Ingredients


3 cups cabbage choped
2 carrots grated
4 tbs olive oil
1/4 cup walnut crumbled
2 garlic clove crushed
1 teaspoon salt
corn, dill


Rub the cabbage with salt gently.  For the salad souce, mix olive oil  and  crushed garlic and walnut. Pour salad into a large bowl and add the souce. Serve with splinked dill and corn.

RED LENTIL SOUP

Very simple but so delicious

Ingredients


1 small onion
1 cup red lentil washed and drained
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 cups water

Chop onion in thick slices and brown gently in a 2 tbs oil on a soup pot. Add 1 tbs flour to the onion and stir continuosly for 2-3 minutes. Add the 1 cup red lentil and 4 cups water, 2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.  Simmer gently 20 minutes over medium heat until the lentils are soft.  For to get a smooth soup, mix the soup with a hand blender. Serve hot with lemon juice.
